Breadmaker machine question?
I have a breadmaker machine … Nevers, but my bread rises properly. I follow all the instructions, etc. .. white, brown, etc.. In the bread never growing and really is "hard" texture. What I do wrong?
There are several possibilities. Or yeast or flour May be old. Water temperature May be too hot (the killing of yeast) or cold (not making it rise). Bread machine istting May be in the draft or too near a heat source (stove or refrigerator). Try moving it to another kitchen table. Ignore those who tell you the bread of the bread machine is inferior to homemade. This is home. I often make a paste in the machine, and then modify it to braid, spiral, bread or rolls and bake in the oven.
